The Core Center of Excellence in Hematology (CCEH) was established in September 1999 with funding from NIDDK. (DK056465)
CCEH provides cost effective, quality assured resources and expertise to isolate stem/progenitor cells, mark them, modify their gene expression, and accurately detect and quantitate their progeny in vitro and in vivo.
The CCEH Administrative Core, under the direction of Dr. Beverly Torok-Storb, also awards pilot and feasibility grants and has funds to support short-term on-site training for NIDDK-sponsored trainees from across the country.
